Plagiarism and AI Use Policy

The Journal of Academia Educational Researches is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, originality, and ethical publishing. Authors are expected to submit original work that has not been plagiarized, fabricated, falsified, or published elsewhere. All sources of information, ideas, data, figures, tables, and previously published material must be appropriately acknowledged through accurate citation and referencing.

All manuscripts submitted to the journal may be screened using plagiarism detection software before and, where necessary, after the peer-review process. The editorial office evaluates the overall nature and context of any similarity identified rather than relying solely on a similarity percentage. Legitimate overlap arising from references, standard methodological descriptions, properly quoted material, or legally reused content may be considered acceptable when appropriately cited.

The journal does not tolerate plagiarism in any form, including direct plagiarism, self-plagiarism, mosaic plagiarism, duplicate publication, redundant publication, improper paraphrasing, unattributed use of another person's intellectual work, data fabrication, image manipulation, or falsification of research findings. Where evidence of research misconduct is identified, the manuscript may be rejected, returned for clarification, or subjected to further editorial investigation. If misconduct is discovered after publication, the journal reserves the right to issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions as appropriate.

Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, authenticity, and integrity of all content submitted to the journal, regardless of the tools or technologies used during manuscript preparation.

The journal recognizes that artificial intelligence (AI) tools may assist authors in activities such as language editing, grammar improvement, formatting, literature organization, coding support, or data visualization. However, AI technologies must be used responsibly and under meaningful human supervision. Authors are expected to carefully review, verify, and take full responsibility for any content generated or modified with the assistance of AI tools.

Artificial intelligence systems or automated tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors because they cannot assume responsibility for the integrity of scholarly work, approve the final manuscript, disclose conflicts of interest, or satisfy accepted authorship criteria. Authorship is limited to individuals who have made substantial intellectual contributions to the research and who accept accountability for the published work.

AI-generated content should not replace original scholarly analysis, interpretation, critical discussion, or scientific judgment. Authors must ensure that any AI-assisted content is factually accurate, free from fabricated references, misleading statements, biased outputs, or copyright infringements. The submission of manuscripts containing unverified or misleading AI-generated material is considered inconsistent with responsible scholarly publishing.

Editors and reviewers may employ appropriate technological tools to assist in editorial evaluation while maintaining strict confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and respecting applicable ethical standards.

By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that their work is original, properly attributed, prepared in accordance with accepted standards of academic integrity, and compliant with the journal's policies on plagiarism, research ethics, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
